Best Western launches iPad app




 This article is about "Best Western to Go", a new application launched by Best Western. 

 This new application is very interesting for travelers , and offers more than a simple tool of reservation. In this sense, Best Western proposes an application very complete with many tools.

For example, a person who uses this application can create itineraries to help with a travel planning by inputting addresses of attractions and restaurants nearby of the hotel and, by using the GPS.
The user can save in this application his past trips in order to remember easier his favorite attractions, restaurants, for each location already visited.
In this application, a user can add pictures and descriptions, and, he can share it with his friends via e-mail or facebook.

I think that this new application is very interesting for travelers, and it is a very good marketing tool for Best Western. In this sense, this application is not another booking application, but, it is a complete application which can be used by users during all the time of their trips, and after also. It is a good tool which can give many information to the user, and, which can permit at the user to share his information and impressions with his friends.
It is a good marketing tool that can help to promote Best Western; and it is a real value-added, which should interest many travelers and should be quickly developed by other hotel groups.

  1. I agree with Agnes's oppinion. It is a great opportunity for the hotels Best Western to attract the new clients who will be interesting in this application. I didn’t yet use this application but it seems to be easy, practice and useful. The user can not only find a hotel and book it, but also have a great opportunity to collect the photos, the maps of the places, restaurants and share it with the friends. To my mind it is a big chance for the Best Western hotels to be better positioned in the hospitality sector between others hotels. This application will also create a direct communication with clients.

  2. I think this application is very well designed as well. Hotels are more and more conscious that it is not by selling the hotel at all costs and annoying the consumers with tons of messages (emails, sms, phone calls)that the guests will become loyal. All the products and services are almost the same and applications are a good way to make the extra step for reaching the guests. The clients expect more than just the last discounts, booking online via their phones. These are just the basics. Being closer to the guests also means understanding its expectations, its needs and even offering them what they did not yet think of! Surprise them! Hotels are now thinking what additional services they could give to their guests, how they could help them, find something convenient for them etc. We are passing from a logic of products to a logic of services where the clients are the main concern.Best Western is leading the way to always more innovation...and competition! I believe mobile app will become more and more sophisticated and complete, innovative.
